Character history. Overview of monsters, enemies, bosses in Minecraft

Minecraft is a virtual game that every child knew in the 2000s. The main characters in it are mobs that interact with the player. Harmless communicate without causing discomfort to the character. Neutral characters leave the player unattended until close contact. Evil mob is attacking. Enderman is a specific character from among the neutral mobs.

History of creation

The game was developed in the spring of 2009 by Markus Persson, nicknamed Notch. Initially, the project was visually different from what it looks like today. Blocks of earth and stones organized pictures, allowing you to associate what you saw with something from real life. Later, the graphics block was finalized and images of plants appeared.

Minecraft developer Markus Persson

Persson named the project "CaveGame", but the game was renamed. In 2010, it became a network. Online entertainment did not differ in scale and had a lot of flaws. But the audience didn't care. The stream of the same type of games that were eyesores was a familiar alternative, and Minecraft became an exclusive. Users liked the construction of small towns on servers.

In 2010, as a result of improvements, water and lava blocks appeared in the system, but they were "raw". The bugs were quickly noticed and fixed. Then the project was supplemented with Skeleton and mobs. The resulting survival scale contained the same categories that exist today: health and hunger.

Minecraft game

In the fall of 2011, the project was updated, and latest version has been updated for Sony Ericsson smartphones. Gadgets that could not be created high quality photo or play a song without "pulling" the game. The number and quality of blocks was being finalized, and the creators were working to improve the game. In 2014, Minecraft gained the possibility of infinite generation. Bill Gates showed attention to the project and bought it for $2.5 billion, which attracted the attention of the market. This year's version had an updated engine and lighting.

"Minecraft" is a network game, the promotion of which did not take a cent. The project advertised itself without investments. Today there is not a single avid player who does not know about this entertainment. Developers are working on new version"Minecraft" and are preparing to surprise fans.

In the game "Minecraft"

Enderman is the usual name for the character, who, according to the plot, is called the Wanderer of the Edge. This name sounds in the English prototype and was invented in accordance with the place of origin of the described mob. Players meet him in a world called The End, which translates as "End", and in the familiar world. The creators warn that collisions with him are dangerous.

Character growth is comparable to the size of three blocks. Compared to the main character, Enderman is just gigantic. The character is painted black, and his eyes are highlighted with a purple tint. Endermen are neutral mobs. It is impossible to tame him, so the only right decision is to refuse to interact with him. If you can't move it carefully, expect a bloody battle. During the day, the mob begins to show aggression against the player with sensitive blows and heavy touches. At night, he is excessively angry and excited at the mere sight. The slightest contact is enough to launch an attack. Don't look at Enderman at night.

The character has the ability to teleport. If it was not possible to avoid a collision with him, the aggressor will have to be aimed at in order to avoid his appearance behind your back. Enderman is a fan of moving blocks. He scurries around the world, gets carried away by the found block and, moving it a little, moves it to a new place. There are no difficult tasks for him. Any block is within the power of the character.

Enderman has gained popularity with the public. Today, every third child knows who this hero is. AT social networks and on the Internet published cartoons, anime and fanfiction on the plot of the game. In them, Enderman opposes, raps, opposes and, against Gast, against Nubik and against a tsunami from the water. Fans of the game are posting comic videos to the music online. In them, the Wanderer of the Edge appears in the form of a mutant or a zombie.

The game is curious in that there are no bloody scenes in it. Even a girl could become its user. At the time of the popularity of shooters, this characteristic is considered a rarity.

secrets

As in any game, Minecraft has subtleties and tricks. The secrets regarding the Enderman are known to experienced players.

  • For example, those who have had time to try different approaches to the character know that if you throw an invisibility potion at Enderman, his body will disappear into the air, but the glowing eyes will remain. You can protect yourself from the hero's attacks by putting a pumpkin on your head. In such cases, the Enderman becomes harmless, unresponsive to glances, and unable to teleport. If it starts raining, the last ability always saves Enderman.
  • The Wanderer of the End cannot be killed with a bow, as he has time to move, avoiding danger. Hand wolves help keep him from teleporting by biting. If the hero dies, he leaves an Ender pearl in his place. If you want to stop the character's teleportation, hit the legs. You will be protected from his attacks by a timely organized visor, rising to the third block. Enderman's glove allows you to move blocks in space.
  • Players interested in this character's skins and nicknames will find useful information on the Internet and on thematic sites. Taming an Enderman seems impossible, but players are sharing mods that make it possible. Also on the Internet there is a video about the Wanderer of the Edge, its life cycle and modifications during the existence of the game. Funny cartoons tell about the life of a character. About how he found a puppy, stole a house or climbed into someone else's house.

  • The stories about the Wanderer of the Edge seem chaotic and strange until you become a Minecraft player yourself. At this point, everything falls into place.

The most frightening monster in Minecraft - especially if you are just starting to take your first steps in this square world. Appearing from nowhere, disappearing if you look at him, and it’s not even clear how to kill the enderman?

Regular Enemies

Enderman or Enderman it is a black monster 3 blocks high. He has a large supply of health, plus there is the ability to instantly teleport, which of course is unique in the world of Minecraft. In addition, the Wanderer of the Edge can take objects in his black hands ...

When you carelessly walk around the neighborhood at night, the wanderer of the Edge, noticing you, immediately runs at you, while opening his mouth, and obviously not to say “Hi, how are you, Steve!”. Oh no, he wants to have dinner!

Enderman's fighting style is quite simple - he teleports behind you and hits you from behind. Thus, in a fight with him, you need to turn around sharply and immediately hit without hesitation. In this case, it is better to choose a sword as a weapon, the bow is ineffective against the wanderer of the Edge. When he walks from afar, do not look away, he will only notice this and immediately teleport away. And you can easily find out who is the coolest of the mobs in Minecraft, for this you will know the answer for sure!

How to kill the wanderer of the Edge (enderman) in Minecraft. Without a doubt the best way is to lure him into a trap. Since the wanderer of the Edge is three blocks tall, and our character is two blocks tall, this should be used. To do this, we build a house two blocks high, and from there it will be possible to kill the enderman with impunity simply and easily. The second method is more dangerous, but for an experienced player it is quite acceptable. We put a pumpkin on our heads and calmly approaches the wanderer of the Edge, he will not pay attention to us. But immediately after the first attack, he will understand what's what, so do not forget to turn around and hit with a sword. And very cheeky, but effective method- pour a bucket of water over the wanderer of the Land, he takes damage from water.

What drops out of the Wanderer of the Edge (enderman). Ender Pearl 1 piece.

Wither vs Enderman.

Enderman is a player-neutral mob. The wanderer's homeworld is the Ender dimension. Purple particles always spawn around Enderman. He usually wanders aimlessly around the area, sometimes taking blocks, later placing them in another place.

But at night, if the player looks directly at him, the Enderman will either run quickly or teleport behind the player's back and hit quite hard, while he makes frightening sounds. If you look at him or attack him, then at a distance of two blocks he will again teleport behind the player's back and continue his attack.

You can put a pumpkin on the player's head, then the Enderman will not attack, no matter how the player looks at him, and even lose the ability to teleport.

If Enderman gets caught in rain or snow, he will immediately teleport to a safe place for himself.

It is impossible to kill him with a bow - he teleports away from the arrow before hitting him. You can also use several tamed wolves in the battle with Enderman - they will bite him and prevent him from teleporting. When an Enderman dies, he may drop an Ender Pearl.

To summon an Enderman with a block in hand, you can use the /summon Enderman ~ ~ ~ (carried:1) command, where 1 is the block ID.

Since version 1.10, Endermen can be found in Hell.

Teleports behind your back

Enderman is also called: Wanderer of the Edge, Enderman, Wanderer of Paradise.

Enderman is present in Minecraft versions: 1.8.2, 1.8.1, 1.8, 1.7.10, 1.7.9, 1.7.5, 1.6.4, 1.5.2.

Tricks and secrets

  • If you build a visor above yourself at the height of the third block, then Enderman will not be able to hit you, but you can.

  • In order for Enderman not to teleport from blows, he needs to be hit in the legs.

Ender Wanderer

The Wanderer of the Edge (eng. Enderman - literally a person from the Edge), or enderman - a neutral mob that was added to the game in the Adventure Update. The first screenshot showing him was posted by Notch on Google+ and signed as Enderman. This mob is one of the tallest mobs in Minecraft: its height is three blocks. The wanderer's home world is the End dimension. Violet particles always appear around the enderman, similar to those hovering near the portal in lower world. Present in all three dimensions.

Behavior

Usually, the Ender wanderer behaves like a neutral mob: he walks aimlessly around the territory (sometimes he takes blocks, later placing them in another place) and makes sounds similar to a crunch, but under certain circumstances his attitude towards the player can change dramatically. The condition of his hostility is rather unusual: during the day, like a spider, he will not attack the player, unless he attacks him, but at night, if the player looks at him (directly, and not through glass or a glass panel), that is, he aims on this mob, then the wanderer of the Edge will begin to look at the protagonist in response until the player himself looks away, after which he either quickly runs or teleports a short distance (teleportation frequency once per second) behind his back and hits quite hard, at the same time, it opens the "jaws" (which can be seen under a certain angle of illumination). If you look at him and move away or get close to him, then at a distance of two blocks he will teleport behind the player's back and start an attack. If the Ender is sitting in the cart, then he cannot attack or teleport. It is also worth noting that the Wanderer can charge at the player with long distance. The main thing is to be with a weapon in your hands and keep the Wanderer of the Edge in sight.

If the player has a pumpkin on his head, then the Enderman will not attack no matter how the player looks at him, and, moreover, he will lose the ability to teleport. The same is true for the player in the boat.

The Enderman takes damage while in water, rain, and even snow. Therefore, once in such conditions, he immediately teleports to a safe place for himself.

The Wanderer of the End appears in dark caves and at night, and quite rarely. The Enderman spawns more often in the End biome.

Block transfer

The Enderman can collect, move, and place blocks. This mob spawns without blocks in hand, but can pick up some blocks. In his hands, any block is slightly larger than in the hands of the player. Research in pre-release versions has shown that the enderman can even collect bedrock, but later tests and code breaks show that this has already been fixed. Interesting Facts

The eyes of the enderman are a separate texture, like the eyes of a spider. They also glow in the dark in the same way. In order for the wanderer not to teleport during blows, he must be beaten in the legs. The original name "Enderman" is a reference to the Internet meme "Skinny Man / Slender Man". Perhaps this name was given to this mob because of its similarity with the hero of horror stories. This name for the mob came up with Notch on the Minecraft Reddit thread. Due to his resemblance to Slenderman, many have requested that he be renamed Farlander ("From the Far Lands"). But Notch wrote that he would definitely not change the name of the mob to Farlander, but rather rename the Far Lands to "The End" (The End (or Edge)). In the PAX Beta 1.8 demo version, the enderman dropped diamonds, in later versions he dropped ender pearls, which had no use at first. FROM the player, and even BEHIND the player, and often takes damage from such maneuvers (crashing into walls, falling off cliffs, coming out into the light (before Beta 1.9-pre2), falling into water, etc.). Prior to Beta 1.9pre2, the Enderman burned in the sun. Skeletons and zombies can survive in the daytime while in the water, the Enderman was deprived of such an escape route. The Enderman cannot be killed with a bow. It teleports away from the arrow before it hits. If you fire an arrow with an effect from a bow, the Enderman will gain the effect of the arrow despite dodging the arrow. If the wanderer has nowhere to teleport (to do this, for example, you can create walls from the water or remove all the blocks around), then the arrows will bounce off him. The Wanderer of the Edge has the ability to open his mouth. In his texture, the jaws are separated from the skull, and he opens his mouth by moving the skull above the jaws. Thus, the enderman is the first mob that can physically open its mouth without switching to another texture. In Beta 1.8-pre2, the Enderman's eyes and smoke were repainted purple. The Enderman's eye color was changed three times during creation, first the pupils were pale blue, then they turned green, and by the final Beta 1.8 they were repainted purple Colour. Falling from a great height into the water, the Ender wanderer can survive by teleporting at the moment of contact with water. Can only teleport if he is in a space greater than 3 blocks (the volume of the wanderer). When a wanderer places the Edge of Blocks, it is not checked whether it can be placed on this block. Therefore, they can place flowers and cacti on the "wrong" blocks. If, say, for a mobo farm or something like that, you need to put a cactus in a "forbidden" place, accumulate a few stacks of cactus on an automatic cactus farm, cover several stacks of sand with them and leave the game for a few hours. When the wanderers randomly scatter cacti, remove the extra ones. It would be reasonable to tie the farm to the place where the cactus ended up, that is, in fact, build it around the point where it was lucky to violate the restrictions.

Attention! If such a block is updated, it will fall out, so you need to act carefully.

The first official screenshot showing this mob

The wanderer of the edge, or, enderman, is perhaps one of the mysterious mobs in Minecraft PE. The structure of the body and other features make you wonder what it is and why it was created at all. Let's figure out who the Wanderer of the Land is and how to fight him.

The mob is one of the tallest in the game, despite being less than one block wide, its height is three blocks. It has long arms and legs, a short torso and a standard Minecraft PE head.

The color is in shades of black, with the exception of the purple eyes, which were originally a separate texture and could be seen even if the mob was under an invisibility potion.

If the player is wearing a pumpkin, then the enderman will not attack the player if he looks into his eyes from any of the angles and at any distance. Therefore, when going to the ender world, do not forget to take a pumpkin with you.

Endermen are terribly afraid of water and take damage from both water and rain.. As soon as it starts to rain or they fall into the water, they immediately try to teleport to a protected place. Therefore, in the ender world, you could also capture a bucket of water, which you would spill on yourself if endermen started attacking you.

They only spawn in dark caves (when the lighting level is less than 7), from where there is already a chance that they will teleport to the surface. They can also spawn in hell, however, due to the fact that there is a high level of lighting, this happens extremely rarely. Upon death, they have a small chance to drop one ender pearl (Ender Pearl), with which the player can craft an ender eye that activates a portal to the ender world.

There is a small chance that he will take the block next to him, with the block he cannot spawn. The block in his hands visually looks larger than the same block standing on the ground. As a consequence, he can also put this block, if he is killed when he has a block in his hands, then this block will not fall out.

History of Enderman

Its original name (Enderman) comes from the famous horror hero Slender Man, about whom, by the way, there is a movie in theaters now. The players on Reddit asked Notch to rename Enderman to Farlander, which translates as Delekozemelnik. Notch refused and said that he would rather rename the Far Lands. And so the idea to create the world of the Land was born.

He cannot teleport out of webs or while in sand or gravel. Endermen's only chance to escape from sand or gravel is to grab a block that suffocates them in their hands, the chance of which is extremely small, so they usually suffocate in the sand.

Have you heard the sounds of Enderman? Something weird and creepy. In fact, these are slow and distorted phrases "Hi" "Hello" "What's up" spoken backwards.

Endermen live and are born in the Endermere, after which through portals go to the normal world and the world of Hell, which explains the statements of the players that in the fortresses there is a greater chance of meeting an enderman.

Enderman in reality

Enderman, by the way, can be found with him in real life. To do this, you can buy a toy in the official Mojang store or on the Aliexpress website. A small and plush wanderer of the edge is unlikely to harm you, but he will certainly be able to decorate the room and give pleasure. The price for it is about $ 9, which is approximately 540-550 rubles.
